Did something change over the last year or so that I may have missed about HEAT rounds? I ask because over the course of this year, (excluding the time of my absence due to hardware issues) I can't help but notice HEAT rounds going through angled armor as if it was flat; both giving and receiving. On the receiving end, without over angling against the opponents gun, roughly 15-30 degrees turret included (for some tanks like E100 and Maus a little more angle), unless it hits the drive wheel it some how manages to still go through. Not that this is the case with every tank of course, but for most it just seems not to matter how "well" the armor is angled from the gun and shell trajectory it does not seem matter. On the giving end, It's the same deal, lets say e100 turret, its hull down, the only things i have to shoot are the face of the turret, and the cross bar up top.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
